Now here's an interesting project - The Burning Bush. Saw them on the early music show, they play music of the Jews who were expelled from Spain 500 years ago, and there is an interesting mix of influences and styles in the music they play. Couldn't find any videos on youtube (music IR resource failure), but theres some snippets of their music available on their web site (all real media clips):
